Child and Youth Mental Health Parent Support Group @ New Westminster Child and Youth Mental Health Columbia Square

The New Westminster CYMHSU Local Action Team (LAT) is happy to announce that our Child and Youth Mental Health Parent Support Group is starting up again on Wednesday September 20th from 6:30-8:30 at the New West Child and Youth Mental Health office at Columbia Square.

We will meet every third Wednesday throughout the school year.

You do not have to live in New Westminster to attend.

We are also very pleased to announce that we will be offering free childminding for those of you that preregistration your children. The childminding will be provided by New Westminster Family Services of Greater Vancouver childminders.

Terry Fox Run

Students at École Herbert Spencer Elementary School will be participating in the annual Terry Fox Run. We will participate
rain or shine. Please send your child in runners and appropriate clothing for the weather. The students in K
and Grade 1 will run in the school yard and our Grade 2 to 5 students will run a circuit around Queens Park. The
NWPD will provide safe crossing at the corner of First Street and Sixth Avenue. As in other years we are asking each
child to bring a “Toonie for Terry”, or more if you like! If you are able to volunteer for this event please contact Mrs.
Serraglio as soon as possible at cserraglio@sd40.bc.ca
